Drift Chat 🤖

  • Divider display on new convo experience
    • What: Customers on the new conversations experience can now see a divider that displays where a conversation was started from with an end user on a given day.
    • Why: Knowing where a conversation started from is very valuable context for reps so that when they engage with the end user they understand a) why the end user is on their site and b) what information to provide them. PLUS! It's sticky at the top so that this precious info is never more than a single glance away.
    • Where: New conversation experience (app.drift.com/conversations and desktop app)
    • Who: All customers
  • Audience playbook details
    • What: Playbook details surfaces the playbooks firing for that audience.
    • Why: Audiences shows our customers who is on their website: who is covered, who isn't, who is booking meetings. But how do customers actually move the number on that covered number? Playbooks!!! Playbook details surfaces the playbooks firing for that audience so customers can take action to actually impact their coverage.

    • Who: Enterprise customers with Audiences
  • Audience top page details
    • What: Audience top page details showing the most highly trafficked pages for a selected audience as well as the playbooks firing on those pages.
    • Why: Audiences shows our customers who is on their website: who is covered, who isn't, who is booking meetings. But how do customers know which pages are most visited for the audiences they are interested in? Top pages! Top page details surfaces the most highly trafficked pages for a selected audience as well as the playbooks firing on those pages, so customers can take action to get playbooks in front of visitors on pages they visit most.

    • Who: Enterprise customers with Audiences
  • Even more quick actions for offline users!
    • What: "Search in LinkedIn" quick action to send a LinkedIn message. Just like our Send an email button, this will appear when a user is offline and hasn't yet sent a message in a conversation! Find it in your ABM notification conversations, in a routed convo, in a convo started from the widget, etc.
    • Why: Emails are great, but sometimes a nice LinkedIn message is just what the doctor ordered! We want to meet our customers where they are (and sometimes we just need to do a little more research) so we're rolling out a "Search in LinkedIn" quick action button!
    • Where: New conversation experience (app.drift.com/conversations and desktop app)
    • Who: All customers
  • CHAT TO ZOOM!
    • What: Start a Zoom call right from your chat!
    • Why: The best way to follow up on a chat conversation is to move to a video conference. So now our users can integrate with Zoom and immediately drop a meeting link from the chat!
    • Where: New conversation experience (app.drift.com/conversations and desktop app)
    • Who: Premium & Enterprise customers
  • iOS Data Display Update
    • What: iOS data display update giving you all the user details right in-app.
    • Why: Imagine that you are a SDR and you are assigned a lead while you are away from your desktop. You start chatting with the customer through the mobile app. But once you are ready to book a meeting you have to rush to your laptop to check the account details in the desktop app. Not anymore! The data display update reduces the friction and allowing customers to have a conversation from start to finish in the mobile app.

Drift Email 💌

  • Email bots campaign templates
    • What: Admins can now drop 3 campaign templates (Webinar Follow-up, Abandoned Chat, and Content Download) to any Drift Email bot account, and as a bonus we've also updated the default Lead Follow-up campaign template.
    • Why: We want the campaign building process to be as easy and seamless as possible, with these templates our customers will have a starting point to hit the ground running with their first campaign while following best practices to see early success.

    • Who: Drift Email customers
