  • Partial Playbook Rollout
    • What: For any bot playbook, you can choose to show it to only a fraction of the full audience. When the ROI is proven out for that fraction, customers can go all the way with full confidence. We hope this will transform playbook deployment conversations that end in no to a let’s prove it.
    • Why: The new Playbook Workflow team’s mission this quarter is to help get our customers into a habit loop of creating and improving their playbooks. One thing that keeps customers from diving in is risk. How can they try a playbook on a worthwhile audience, measure the ROI, and have ammo to push for a further expansion when there are many stake holders concerned with the company website? Partial playbook rollouts can help.
    • Where: Bot playbook targeting
    • Who: customers on premium and enterprise who have v2 widget
  • Draggable Custom Sections
    • What: Now you can reorder your own sections however you'd like! Put the highest priority inbox or team at the top of your view, it'll stay there across web and desktop!
    • Why: Customers expect this functionality because they're used to Slack, Intercom, Outlook, and AIM Instant Messenger from the 90s. Basically, any app that lets you group stuff into custom "folders" lets you rearrange those folders. So now we do too.
    • Where: New conversation experience (app.drift.com/conversations or desktop app)
    • Who: users with access to All Conversations and who use new conversation experience
  • Prioritize first available time when booking a meeting
    • What: Drift users can choose to let their customer pick the best time for them and automatically book the meeting with a Drift rep that's free at that time. This setting only impacts playbooks for now!
    • Why: When booking a demo, our customers want their customers to pick a time that works for them, not be stuck with the availability of whatever rep we route in
    • Where: Meetings, enable in app.drift.com/meetings/organization
    • Who: customers on premium and enterprise who have v2 widget
  • A more accessible widget to all
    • What: v2 is WCAG 2.1 AA compliant! Working towards our Objective of providing the most compelling experience for buyers to engage with sellers, an AA-level compliance helps people with disabilities to more easily interact with the widget by smoothing out the experience with screen readers and keyboard navigation!
    • Why: Many customers asked for a compliant widget to easily help and serve more of their customers
    • Where: v2 widget
    • Who: anyone on v2 widget
