Drift Desktop App for Mac- Can't connect

Hi all,

I have no problem logging in and accessing via browser but I have downloaded the desktop app and installed it and when I launch it I get the message "Couldn't connect to Drift" and "Hmm.... something went wrong and we couldn't connect to Drift. Check your internet connection to see your latest conversations!"


Any idea how to resolve this? Would love to have the app running as I have sooo many tabs open it's hard to keep track of drift!

    Hope you are well, and thank you for your question! Sorry to hear you are having trouble with using the Drift Desktop app! Can you try the following steps and let me know if this helps?

    1. Hard Refresh (command + R)
    2. Help tab> troubleshooting > clear cache and restart”
    3. Help tab > troubleshooting > reset app data
    4. Manually update the drift > “check for updates”
    5. Uninstall and Reinstall
