How to auto ask for an email when you're on a free plan?

As you may know, custom bots are only available on our paid plans, where you may ask your site visitors any questions you'd like, their phone number and their email.

Though did you know that you could set up an automated way to ask your site visitors for their email when you are on a free plan?

This setting lives in Settings - Drift Widget - Advanced - Ask site visitors for email

With this setting, you can further create that personalized experience by having your site visitor's email and getting information on your site visitor from Clearbit Enrichment, such as their name and employment information if it's available!

Just as a reminder, if Drift skips this question, it's because the email of your site visitor is already known and we won't ask for an email if we already know it!
