How to install Drift through Javascript code on your website

You have made an incredible decision in choosing Drift to empower and help you grow by making it possible to have conversations with the people that come to your site!

But there is one crucial step, and that is making sure that Drift is properly installed on your site, and one of the best ways of doing that is through Javascript.

In creating your account, you will be prompted to install the Drift code snippet on your site and are given a few options.

You can install Drift directly on your site through Javascript or through WordPress with the plugin (we will cover that in another post).

Depending on your coding know-how, you can install it yourself or have a teammate do it for you.

If you want to install it yourself, what you need to do is click on the button that says, "Add Javascript Code yourself". Then, you will be prompted to copy the code snippet and paste it to the <head> section of each page of your website.

Or you can hit email a teammate for help.

Now that Drift is on your site, we need to verify its installation by popping in your website URL on this part below:

If done correctly, it will then take you to the Drift dashboard for you to explore Drift and see its magic.
