How to set up your Drift Account
You have made a huge step in capturing the people that come to your site by choosing to implement Drift! Woohoo, and thank you.
Once created, Drift will prompt you to go through a short onboarding section to ensure you get the most out of the platform.
The first step is choosing the language, the message displayed to visitors, and your full name. It will look something like this:
After going through this step, you will be asked to enter company-specific information such as company name, company website, and image.
Lastly, we dive into your Drift chatbot's look and feel as you can now edit the color theme and the type of icon displayed on your website.
Remember that getting the maximum impact from the chatbot is to align it with your brand's look, feel, and voice so it feels seamless for your current and future customers.
If you want to make any changes after completing this onboarding section, please follow the steps below.
- Go to Settings
- Under settings, locate App Settings in the side navigation
- Click Drift Widget
- Select Design & Language
- Start Customizing your widget
If you want to change the message displayed on your website, then click on the bot face and edit the playbooks!
