How to set up who can bypass SSO Authentication

edited April 12 in Settings

Single Sign On is available on Paid Plans

Account owners by default are not required to sign in via SSO, this is to ensure if SSO fails or is configured incorrectly the Account Owner is able to always log into your Drift account.

We also have the ability to allow Admin Users to bypass SSO so admin users can go through the standard username/password log in flow.

To set this up head to Settings > Organization Settings > Security and click ‘Configure SAML Authentication’ or click here. You can head down to ‘Who can bypass SSO’ where you will be prompted with a drop down to choose who can bypass SSO if SSO is set up in your account.

You can choose Account owners, Account owners and admin users or choose no users can bypass SSO:
