Has GIF recording been discontinued in the Chrome extension?

All the Drift Video documentation continues to describe how to record a GIF, but that button has disappeared from the extension. Only Record Video remains, even after updating the extension.

Yes - we did discontinue supporting GIF creation through the Drift video chrome extension.
