  • Customer goal collection in onboarding
    • Why? Drift helps customers solve a problem, optimize a part of a process, but we want to understand the details of that. This can help both our customers and onboarding specialists orient and focus! They are also kept in the tool so they can keep on track.
    • Who: Customers in onboarding
    • Where: Onboarding dashboard
  • Information about your CSM in the Install step of onboarding
    • Why? Installing can be intimidating, but with your CSM it doesn't have to be. It's also a great way to quickly book a meeting if you want to connect.
    • Who: Essential and up customers who have a CSM/onboarding specialist
    • Where: Install step in onboarding

  • New widget design in widget settings
    • Why? We're cutting the confusion of seeing v1 of the widget in the widget settings! Now the new design and default greeting reflect what will be on a customer's website.
    • Who: Customers with the v2 widget
    • Where: All widget settings pages
  • View and manage participants in the desktop app
    • Why? This was a feature that was available in the browser app and we want to bring the functionality to the desktop app for a frictionless experience if you need to add or remove people from a chat.

  • Update date display in Audience overview card
    • Why? The previous display was a little confusing, but we want to make sure our customers understand what exactly their looking at
    • Who: Enterprise customers with Audiences
    • Where: Audiences tab
  • Informational text for viewing and managing conversations in the desktop app
    • Why? We want to be clear about what actions you're about to take in the app. Reduce friction and cut confusion.
    • Who: Customers using the desktop app

  • Typing indicator for iOS
    • Why? This provides reassurance that you're still in an active chat and there's even more engagement when you know what's going on on the other end.
