Does anyone else find it incredibly difficult to build an effective chatbot using AI topics because we can't easily see unrecognized intents?

I’m just curious if there are any other CAI managers here that are struggling with building an impactful and engaging chatbot that can serve a Support use case because we don’t have the ability to just easily see what the bot is not recognizing. This is such a basic feature for a chatbot vendor, it makes me wonder why Drift doesn’t have it. The AI topics performance dash doesn’t even have any reference to unrecognized topics, does Drift not want us to know how much the bot is not recognizing? This is an incredible gap in reporting, and not having this basic functionality makes me really hesitant to trust Drift enough to use something as powerful as Bionic Chatbots, especially seeing seeing how GPT powered business chatbots are already causing issues for companies, just look at the messes caused by ones recently used by a Chevrolet dealership and Canada Air. If we are not able to effectively manage our AI offerings we are putting our companies and our own careers at risk.

Please upvote this idea asking for unrecognized utterances to be listed

Hello everyone, I would like to ask your help in upvoting this idea. If we are not able to easily see what the bot does not recognize, then we cannot improve it. This is a requirement to successfully use AI topics.

Review and Sort AI Topics by Topic

Our company has received a high volume of gibberish responses in chats as well as unsolicited/unwanted chats. While under the AI Topics and the review tab, we see hundreds of the same topics in a row. We have a mature AI model that can detect these topics, but it would be great to sort based of topic responses. And taking it a step further, it would be incredibly helpful to either “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” in bulk to show the bot was correct/incorrect.

How to Review Conversations that use AI

You can review all your conversations in the conversation search screen.  This screen will also allow you to review all oer your conversations that are held via AI.  Note that Conversational AI playbooks are only available to FY22 Enterprise Plan customers. To review conversations, select Conversation Search from the main menu.  Reviewing Conversations with AI From the Conversation Search Screen, Select view all conversations or use the search bar to search for specific items.  On the results screen, select the filter options, and choose Playbook with AI enabled is True and then hit ApplyOn the following screen, you'll see search results that show your AI enabled Playbooks.

How to use Conditional responses in with CAI

Hi Drifters! I’m excited to share an excellent tip with the community. Have you heard of Conditional Responses? Before you answer that, it’s important to understand what AI is in Drift and how to use it in your playbooks. I suggest reviewing the following:What is Conversational AI Where to add A.I Topics in your playbookConditional responses are for custom topics that require different responses based on specific keywords from the site visitor’s message.  When you create a custom topic, populate the default response and add a keyword that will trigger a unique response that you will create as well.

Where to add A.I. Topics in your Playbook

Hi Drift Community! Have you recently added Drift’s Conversation AI to your plan and are wondering how CAI works is implemented into playbooks? I’d like this post to discuss adding A.I. to your current playbooks. Firstly, to turn on AI in the playbook, you must toggle on the switch in the upper left corner of the playbook builder. This will turn on AI in the entire specific playbook. You must do this in each playbook if you want to enable AI.  Following toggling on the switch, you will go into each node you would like to use AI to respond to open text questions and toggle another switch. If you would like to add an AI topic to a specific path in a node, you can also use this opportunity to add the base model or custom model topic.   So where do we enable AI? Benefits of the new AI features

Hey all!  I just posted about the Updates Drift rolled out with AI.  (If you missed it, it’s here.)But it occurred to me that while I gave you some links to the help documentation we have, I didn’t really necessarily explain WHY someone would want to use these features.  You can find some use case intel on the links I posted, but I wanted to highlight those use cases here as well.So with that being said, here’s some use cases for each item we rolled out: GPT Translations can be great for sales and support teams. Scaling and maintaining Drift AI

Hi Drift Community 👋, Are you using Drift Conversational AI or curious on how other customers are taking advantage of Conversational AI? If yes, I'd love to start a discussion in the comments below! As I am sure you've heard, Drift's AI capabilities are rapidly expanding. This includes a new feature that was released earlier this month called Topic Example Generation. This feature increases efficiency when creating or improving custom topics in your AI model. There's plenty more to come from the AI Product team at Drift, but for now, I'm curious how Drift customers are scaling and maintaining their use of Conversational AI. If you've implemented any specific processes to routinely review and maintain your Drift AI model, I want to hear from you!
