Mission-fatal problem: responding to anyone on mobile (iphone) I get this message.
The organization account was deleted as part of this request - However, we are still able to get responses back from certain drift apis, and would like to ensure no data is returned for for our previous organization id / embed_id. Please can someone ensure our whole data is deleted from Drift, and nothing is returned? Please let me know if additional information is needed!
When user ask quertion from chat bot my user getting infinite response for same question. Is it possible to delay the appearance of the widget for 20 seconds when the visitor first comes to the page?And is there a dedicated page or link I can trigger it with from a link on a page, for example?I also do not see where to customize the welcome message.I’m surprised these are not easy toggles to find.
Is there going to be an update to the iPhone app? It has been broken for a few months. I definitely don’t want to do this at all because I have enjoyed Drift for a long time, but I have been looking into other chat services. I’ve reached out many times and have not received a response about this issue. Does anyone have any information on this? Thanks so much.
Hi there,whenever I try to upload an attachment to a conversation from the Drift mobile app (Android, latest version, v.3.3.0), I get an error message saying “Failed to upload attachment”. This is happening regardless of the attachment file type (e.g. png, jpg, etc.). Uploading the same file via the Drift chat web interface works fine.Thanks,Nick
I was routed to a conversation but the site visitor never gave a name or email. Is there a way that I can find any additional on who it may be? They had asked me to follow up, but I was never able to get an information.
How to use Drift with Ruby on Rails 7 and Turbo? I had it working on Ruby on Rails 6 and Turbolinks, after following a tutorial. I had to use this:<div id="drift-widget-container" data-turbolinks-permanent></div> But now on Turbo, every time I navigate to another page, the Drift chat box is gone.It shows on the first page, but goes away whenever I click on a link. I tried changing the `turbolinks` to turbo here:<div id="drift-widget-container" data-turbo-permanent></div>But that did not work. Any ideas on how to get this working on the latest Ruby on Rails?
Customer would like the ability to live chat to be removed from all roles access. Customer doesn’t want chat reps to proactively chat in with site visitors but wants to allow site visitors to determine when/if they are ready to speak to sales. Currently there is no way to remove access to Live Chat.
Greetings!We observe the incorrect behavior of the widget. When the visitor sent the first message, the widget window disappeared and there was only one button in the form of a circle with the dialog closing. But there is no dialog... when you click on the cross button - the button changes its appearance to a regular circle with dialog icons, but there are no changes with the dialog box - it simply DOES NOT.Whats happening?P.S. the same behavior on both projects where we use Drift
Has anyone set up Drift with a federated search engine like Algolia, Coveo, or Elasticsearch? We are looking at getting a federated search tool so our customers can search our product documentation, support articles, community posts, product training, and our website from a single search location and we’d love for our chat bot to also be able to provide this type of search functionality. I know there are pre-built integrations with Zendesk and oder products like that, and it looks like there is a decent API that maybe could be used for this. I’m just wondering if anyone has actually done it.

Hello everyone, I was just thinking how nice it would be for Drift to offer a Data API that would allow us to pull Drift data into other tools (Domo, Looker, PowerBI) so we can build reports and dashboards for Stakeholders who do not have a seat in Drift. We can also use this data to build dashes that suit our individual needs instead of having to work around the customization limitations that Drift reports currently have.Luckily I found an existing idea for this and I wanted to share it so everyone can have a chance to vote it up and hopefully get a public Reporting API going for us.
I would be curious to know how our response rate for routed chats compares to tother Drift customer organizations. Whenever we push chatters to improve response times, we are often met with complaints that their notifications are delayed or not working as expected. If we could say, “Hey, other companies who use Drift manage to answer 78% of their chats within 60 seconds” that would be powerful evidence that there is nothing wrong with the notifications system in general. This may be a long shot, but could Drift share any general stats related to client response times?

Do our reps need to use wild card characters when trying to filter users using Current Page? When we type parts of known URL’s into here, they are typically getting no results back, even when we are testing it with someone already on that page no results come back. I’d love to coach my teams on how best to use these filters so the tool provides more value.
As of Aug 31st our long used Playbooks no longer fire on our site we get an Internal Server Error after it attempts to load the widget. We haven’t changed anything in the playbooks or on our site to cause this failure. Hi,Installing the Drift widget on a website impacts the loading time of the website page considerably.The Core Web Vitals stats increase such as cpu time, script evaluation etc. Also the URL below shows that Drift adds unused CSS to the mix.There are ways to reduce the size of the javascript / unused css but not the execution nor blocking time of the script itself. Hey Drift Community! I am working with our internal creative teams to define framework of recommendations for chat content writing so that our stakeholders can take a stab at script writing. Has anyone in the community come up with a successful set of recommendations that helps guide and encourage creativity? We often find that our scripts end up reiterating what is already on the webpage and we are trying to break that cycle. Thank you in advance for any input!
Hello everyone, I’m Travis and I just joined Drift. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to create new “Quick Add lists” in question nodes. This would be helpful for trying to capture things like Job title or department or any other list that would be used in multiple instances.

I have a customer considering this to reduce response time and increase conversation response rate. If you’ve done this, how did your team structure it? This is not really a question, but more of a bug fix request for Drift.Everything in our account is configured so that messages and playbooks should be coming from me. However email capture message appears as coming from "Bot".This is really bad, as it gives visitors the impression that they have been plugged into a bot, which is terrible, and so they don't chat.What happens is they ask a question, then they see the email capture message sent from “Bot”, with the avatar of the whole discussion changed to the Bot’s picture.They then suppose that it’s actually just a chatbot, without any humans behind, and they leave.By the time I answer, sometimes just 5 seconds, they’re already gone.
